It was torture. Luckily, they only needed my bladder full for the first part of the scan, and about 10-15 minutes in, she let me get up and pee. The US tech actually had me empty my bladder before she started. She told me that they will tell you to drink all that water because some US techs prefer to have your bladder full, and some do not.
