I gained 7 in the first trimester, but everyone gains differently. For me, it was a lot of bloating. I'm 36w now, and gained 28 total. I've gained only 2 pounds in the last trimester somehow.

I lost four! I spent so much time during my pregnancy worrying about lack of weight gain. I wish I just hadn't paid attention. The day I delivered I was only 18lbs above pre pregnancy weight and I had a perfectly healthy baby!

A lot :p I had to eat to keep the nausea away, and it resulted in an 11 pound gain. Not good! But at 15 weeks the gain is slowing down, and my dr isn't worried. Don't you worry either, most people do not gain much the 1st tri!

I lost weight in the first trimester. In fact, I didn't start gaining anything at all until around week 16 or 17. After that, it slowly started adding up. Then the end of the second and beginning of the third trimester started and . . . yowzers! I think I'm up 25 lbs or so right now and hoping to not gain more than 10 from here on out. I wouldn't worry at all about weight gain right now. Just keep eating healthy and making sure the baby is getting lots of nutrients!

I'm 11 weeks and have gained 4lbs. More than I'd like to, but I'm hoping to keep it under 5lbs by the time I enter the second trimester. Guess we'll see!! I didn't have any morning sickness and always craved something so that was what probably did me in. I always craved starchy/carby foods. I tried eating carrots and it made me gag. =(

I wouldn't worry about it. Your doctor would say something if they were concerned. Plus there is plenty of time to gain weight, trust me!

I don't remember how much exactly I gained in the 1st, somewhere between 5-7lbs, maybe.

My weight always fluctuates day to day and even during different times of the day, so it's hard to say exactly, but I think maybe 4 pounds or a little less? I'm at 12 weeks now. I have actually lost a couple of pounds though, since 8 weeks-ish, I think because of all the water weight and bloating. I figure I'm eating healthy-ish (depending on the nausea) and I'm not stuffing myself or starving myself, so I'm probably fine. I don't think you need to gain very much in the first tri and you still have a few weeks left in it.

I was the opposite in that I was worried I'd gain too in the 1st tri, since around 8 weeks I was already up 6 pounds but like I said, some of that actually came off without trying. So, I'm no expert but I'm also not going to worry about it.

I am 10 weeks--I weighed myself this morning and I am only up 1/2 pound from my pre-pregnancy weight. I am in the normal range for weight, so it's recommended that I gain 25-35lbs. I guess I am a little concerned that I am not gaining enough (never thought that would be a concern and I am sure I'll be regretting this post in a few weeks!). I haven't been nauseous in the last few weeks, so it's not because of vomiting or nausea. Maybe I just need to eat a little more?
