Sounds good! I had gained 16 pounds by 18 weeks and 70 pounds overall. Gah

I've lost 30 of it without doing anything, besides giving birth. I can't wait to start exercising and dieting, although it'll be a while. My incision popped and set my recovery back.

Sounds like enough to me.

I gained 30 with T and had gained around 5-6 lbs by 17 weeks. Then gained like 14 lbs from 18-30 weeks and then 10 lbs the last 10 weeks.

I think you're fine! It's really hard to say what's "enough" or "right" at any given point. If your doctor isn't concerned, I don't think you have any reason to be!

My doc only wants me to gain 20-25 total and I am at +16 at 37 weeks.

I gained about 15 lbs both times, but I blame a strict GD diet. I'm probably in the minority, but I wanted to gain more weight/eat to my heart's content while pregnant.

34 pounds with my first. 9 so far with my second at 19 weeks 2 days. I gained all of that in a month. Hope that makes you feel better ;)

I think you're fine with your weight gain so far. If you're able to lose the 50 lbs with your first I'm sure you'll be able to lose it with your second. For me I gained 28/29 lbs and then 20 lbs with my two boys and it's been hard. I'm still trying to lose the 25 lbs I gained between trying to get pregnant with my two boys in a span of 6 years. It's SO much harder when you're older. I envy women who have babies at a much younger age. :)

I also gained a lot of weight in my first pregnancy (about 45 lbs), lost it all and then put some back during TTC. I think I've gained about 4-5 lbs so far at 15 weeks.

I'm not worried though, there's not much you can do to control it anyway as your body doesn't listen to reason during pregnancy. It'll come off sooner or later afterwards!

I also think it varies per pregnancy. With my 1st I gained 40 total and it was pretty steady throughout the whole pregnancy. I also was very swollen so I'm thinking part of it was that. With this one, I've gained about 19 total at 32 weeks. I'm now on a GD diet so I've actually lost a pound and the doctor said I may not gain anymore. My weight gain was less this time even if I wasn't on the GD diet. I'm also not swollen this time. My doctor has never mentioned anything either time.

Sounds on track to me. I gained 1 pound per week with my son from week 10 onward. I gained 29 total and delivered at 39 weeks.

With my daughter I gained more, but started out skinnier. I gained like 8lbs in 6 weeks after the MS was gone. I probably gained about 40lbs total with her and it hasn't come off as quickly as with my son.

If they aren't giving you a hard time, I wouldn't worry. I would like to not know my weight gain this time, as I think it will be more than last. Alas, I have to weigh myself at my appointments, so there's no avoiding it.

I think that's about how much I'd gained at that point. I went on to gain 34lbs total (and I delivered at 38w!). A majority of that I gained in the third tri.

I only gained about 15-17 lbs with my pregnancy, but I had GD so was on a restricted diet. I was also about 20lbs over my idea weight starting out.

i also did the same thing--asked my doctor/nurses not to tell me unless i was gaining too much or too little. there's such a variance, i think you're probably okay but if you're worried you can ask your doctor or nurse!

I gained nearly 50lbs with Chloe and it took me over a year to lose it all.

I gained about 10lbs back while TTC, and have been telling the nurse I don't want to know my weight gain at appts. I stepped on our scale at home for the first time since I got pregnant, though, and I've gained 5lbs.

I'm 17w. Is this enough so far? Just right? Now I'm obsessing over weight gain!
