After 6mo we started doing motin when he was unhappy/fussy and clearly in pain. I don't typically dose during the day if I can distract him. I don't like acetaminophen bc of the asthma risk! But for some reason DH keeps buying acetaminophen!!! @Rubies: that's us. I'm not usually into homeopathic stuff too much, but since she was younger than 6 months I didn't have a choice if I didn't want the tylenol all the time. I found some in my CVS but you can also order off amazon. It's all natural and supposedly totally safe. It comes in these little single-serving squeeze tubes which is super convenient. I have no idea if it really worked. And motrin all the time later on. My kids teethed so early. But once they're a little older and it's not their first few teeth, they do get a little more used to the feeling and pain. With LMW she popped her first tooth at 3 months. and FOUR AT ONCE. So needless to say she was a mess before the tooth made its appearance. We did everything-- tylenol, teething tablets, orajel naturals, and finally camilia boiron because I was sick of pumping her full of tylenol every night. Honestly, with that amount of pain I don't think anything really helped to the point where she was actually comfortable.
