On a nice sunny normal day, it takes me around 45 minutes to commute to work. Being late makes me incredibly nervous. I always leave at least 15 minutes before I really need to in order to be on time (usually more than that). I'm a teacher and am always there by my contracted start time. However I prefer to get to work early but that's impossible with dropping DS off at daycare, dropping DH off at work and commuting. But it's not a big deal. LO was a mess super early this morning - up from 4-530, woudl only sleep lying on top of me, eating - and I hit the snooze until 730. I still dropped him off at daycare, ran to Dunkin, and got to work at 8:59. That will give me more of a sense of accomplishment than anything else i'll do today at work...ha. ETA: I'm never more than 15 minutes late.
