Weekly cervical checks from then on (which I don't mind at all, but I HATED the strep swab--felt gross). Starting at 21 weeks she has started fundal measurements but that's about as invasive as it's been! What a relief! I could be slightly wrong since I have it written down at home. I got to a high risk Dr. which might mean I go in more often. They also didn't think a dating ultrasound was necessary just because I wanted to see it (they were right, I was dead sure on my dates, I just wanted a peak). A lot will start doing cervical checks when you get toward the very end. I'm at 34 now, (I just had one monday) and after my 36 weeker, I go ever week! Actually, I have 2 appointments at 36 weeks, cause I have to go see the back up OB for my birth center to get the green light to give birth at the birth center. I've only had pee-in-a-cup and ask questions appts since the first ultrasound. I think it switches to every 2 weeks around 35 weeks too. If I can add a related question-- do you ever have actual pelvic exams during any prenatal checks? I sort of assumed I would, but since I had a Pap shortly before my BFP, I've never even had to take my pants off yet, just blood work, urine sample, blood pressure, questions.
