But we had to travel a couple hours for any museums. They haven't been to much but that's my goal for this summer - to hit some of the touristy spots in our city - DS is 6.5 and loves to explore new places! Going to the museum was a special occasion, on a school field trip or a couple times a year with my mom. We go to museums/zoos/botanical gardens a couple times a month with our kids, but part of that is living in the city in a small apartment. How often do you go with your kids?
