He's been refusing bottles at daycare now that I'm home with him more to nurse (drinking, like 2oz a day), so his night nursing is through the roof on daycare days. I took him to the pediatrician and he's still growing. She said 6 wet diapers a day and don't worry about the rest. I was afraid maybe I wasn't nursing her enough..</p> <p>@mewtill: same! I only feel a strong letdown when it's been awhile. My son is 9 months and I've been worried because he doesn't want to nurse very often, but "often" to me has been every 3 hours. Usually 630am, 10, 1, 4, bedtime at 7 </p> https://boards.hellobee.com/topic/how-often-did-your-baby-nurse-8-10-months#post-883609 Tue, 25 Jun 2013 15:15:37 +0000 Kemma 883609@https://boards.hellobee.com/ <p>Miss A is 8.5 months and has only just started to space out her feedings, yesterday she only nursed five times which is a record for her (she normally nurses anywhere from six-ten times a day).</p> <p>Here's a rough idea of her schedule:</p> <p>0730 wakeup and nurse<br /> 0830 a small amount of porridge for breakfast<br /> 1030 nurse to sleep for nap<br /> 1230 awake<br /> 1300 lunch (finger food - A is not keen on purée!)<br /> 1530 nurse to sleep for nap<br /> 1630 awake<br /> 1645 small snack (usually a cracker and fruit)<br /> 1800 dinner (whatever we're eating)<br /> 1900 bath<br /> 1930 bedtime and nurse to sleep</p> <p>We still do one or two night wakings and I'll nurse Miss A more often if she's cranky or extra hungry. Some sessions are good but some aren't. I usually nurse, after a little bit offer her next meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner) then nurse a little afterward.</p> <p>wondering if I should be going longer between sessions? or if that's too long? </p>
