In the past couple months we have sat him more in a shopping cart. I'm short and I have a tall and heavy baby (almost 17 lbs at 3.5 months) so wearing him isn't too comfortable. The parking lot is not too close to the daycare entrance so I put his carseat in the snap n' go when I take him from the car to his room. I have the UppaBaby GLuxe and Britax B-Ready. I use the GLuxe more if its a short wall and I am not bringing much and use the B-Ready if its a long walk or I plan to shop (it's more comfy with more recline positions and a very large under carriage basket). LO and I try to get out walking with the dog during the week and I also walk the 3km's to and from our local shops a couple of times a week. In the weekend we quite often throw the pram in the car and go to our nearest city to go shopping. On quick grocery trips, we use our click and go. I use it more that I thought I would. It really depends on the store/area as to whether or not I will break out the stroller . . . I can absolutely say though that it is well worth the 1 minute to pop up the stroller and snap LO's carseat in for even a 10 minute trip (I have the B-Ready) . . . car seats get heavy quickly! Sometimes, if I know the shop(s) are too small, I will just plan to wear BabyGloss (I have the Beco Gemini carrier). With just a little practice, I can now get her out of the carseat and into the carrier in about 2 minutes (tops). For errands, I use the B-Agile, but only really use it at the mall. She sits in the cart or I wear her everywhere else. We use the BOB every day the weather is nice for neighborhood walks (a few times a week right now) and when we go on longer outdoor outings. To me it's really not the big of a deal to pop it open and put the car seat in. Especially now when she's so little and falls asleep in the car. If I had to pick her up or put her in a baby carrier she would wake up.
