Once she really started crawling around outside, getting dirty, and we began incorporating it in her night time routine, we now bathe her every night. I think we're in the minority. Honestly, at most every other week, usually closer to once a month! However, we do BLW, so after every meal he gets rinsed off in the sink. But I dont know how much soap she actually gets since she's still floppy and mostly immersed in water in the sling. I have to wash her hair every other day at least though. It's suppose to help, especially if they scratched their skin a lot. She hated bath time and since she wasn't crawling, she wasn't very dirty. Now she gets one nightly and loves it. Until we take her out of it. So I guess 2-4 baths a week, usually 3-4. For his first month we did it daily because we were too catious not to follow that recommendation. Now we realize its ok. I also use cetaphil as was recommended by her pedi for dry skin when she was a nb. Before she started day care it was probably every other day. Once she started and was around all of those germ bombs, we started the nightly bath. She really enjoys it. I had no idea so few baths were recommended! Just curious what everyone else does/did for the first year.
