I have the same problem if I try to shower more than every second day. He gets soaped and shampooed about once a week. We have been trying to every night but I she's fussy or falls asleep early we just let it go. She loves her bath time, and also she gets really nasty cheesy neck crud in her neck folds that makes her smell like day-old puke. So bath time every night is a must for us. I usually only use soap every other day -- except in her neck folds and diaper area where we soap every day. I only wash his neck in the morning, though, because he's a puker. He gets washed and shampooed every bath. I soap/shampoo her only three times a week though. Our ped. told us not to do it more than a couple times a week in the beginning because it could dry her skin out, but she's starting to get to where she seems to enjoy baths, and I'd like to start giving them to her more often.
