The sleep regression hit us HARD and he didn't know how to put himself to sleep without nursing. We had to hire a sleep doula to help us because I was going crazy. More frequent before bedtime, less when out and about. As of now seems to be getting back to one feeding at night- she had been eating once or not at all overnight then sleep regression. My daughter is just 4 months old now and does 6-8 sessions a day (anywhere from 2-5 hours apart during the day) and 1 night nursing session. He was down to 1-2 night feedings, but now he's going through the 4mo sleep regression and I'm sometimes comfort-nursing him back to sleep (because it's not really due to hunger....). At night (after the 4 month sleep regression) we were lucky to get a 4 hour stretch. It was brutal. He was never a good sleeper. Now he can go a lot longer since we've done some sleep training.
