@youboots: same. 1 - 1.5 hours.

If I wait longer than that he leaks. :bummed: I could add a hemp insert ( I do at night) but I don't like the added bulk during the day. So we just change him often.

We change every 2-3 hours with cloth. 3 hours is about the max amount of time during the day, without adding extra inserts, to be sure we won't have leaks. If I smell poo, I change right away. LO doesn't get rashes due to wetness, but I have noticed some irritation with certain new foods (most recently kiwi) if he has a dirty diaper. He will go 13 hours at night with a hemp insert, but he's also not eating/drinking all night. He's almost 11 months. Have you tried adding a booster?

We use disposables and change every 3-4 hours (unless she's pooped, then we change as soon as we smell it).

I don't change often at all (DD is 15 mo). I usually change wake up, before nap, before dinner, and any poopy ones in between. She doesn't seem to care about a full diaper or even a poopy one! I usually kinda feel it to see if it seems "filled up".

When we did cloth I changed her every 2 hours. With disposables it's every 3 or 4. Sometimes more with DD2 because she is incredibly prone to painful rashes.

We primarily use cloth. I change every 2-2.5 hours. If I know we will be out and I may have to go 3 hours, I use a second insert (hemp insert with the usual microfiber). Haven't had issues with that set-up yet (she's 18 months).

I have to change G as soon as she pees...even just a tiny bit of wetness makes her scream bloody murder!

Either disposable or cloth, if you use cloth.

LO2 is almost 2 and it seems as if she is leaking through her cloth diapers more and more, if I let it go beyond just a couple of hours. If I know we will be out a while, or she is going to nap then I will sometimes put her in a disposable, to avoid that issue. The perk of disposables is you don't have to worry about leaking as much! I know it's because she is drinking/wetting more and not a fit issue. Do you change even if they are barely wet?
