The black isn't mold, it's actually just all the excess grease he brings home from his job! So whenever our clear shower curtain starts to look a little misty, then grey, then black around the edges? That's when I know it's time. Doesn't matter if I put it in a week ago! I just get new ones too :-P At our old place the shower was all glass, so we bought a new one for this place. It's only been 4 months and it's already getting gross!! I'll probably replace it at 6 months.
