I also thoroughly hand mop (as in on my knees scrubbing with warm water) but not often enough! Maybe once every 2-3 months? It takes SO long. I did it more frequently when LO was crawling. The basement is carpeted but I don't spend a lot of time down there so it gets done whenever I feel like lugging the vacuum down there (a.k.a. rarely). I imagine we'll have to clean the main level floors more often once LO is allover them and I'm not really looking forward to the extra work... The wood floors get dust mopped and vacuumed every day. I generally just vacuum daily or every other day and try to steam mop 1x a week.
