I rarely take a call while driving and never text or use my phone. I use the steering wheel buttons to change stations on the radio so I don't need to look at that. I set up the GPS before I leave the driveway. It's actually against the law to even have the phone in your hand while driving, even if you're not texting or on the phone. I'll admit to sending a quick text when i'm at a red light, but it's far and few in between. </p> <p>Ever since DD was born, i don't really "drive distracted". I sometimes don't even bother changing the station if i have to reach over. </p> <p>People who text while driving or don't use speakerphone make me SO mad. Like raging mad. I would talk on the phone (never texted tho), eat, etc. Now, I'm super focused and I get really upset when I see ppl texting or extremely distracted (the other day, I saw a girl on the freeway going at least 65mph putting her eyeliner on. I play books on cd and know I'm totally distracted when I have to find the cd case, find the correct disc, remove the disc from the changer and insert the new disc. Then I have to put the old one away... </p> <p>I'm also guilty of having my phone accessible. I think I just need to give it to my daughter when we're in the car so I don't itch for it..... </p>
