Sometimes we got in the groove and would do it a couple times a week. But it's been a loooong time since he wasn't into pregnant sex once I started showing. And now we have a 9 week old. So do the math :-) He's got a low drive and is self conscious about being the aggressor, and I usually am in the mood but I don't always feel like being the aggressor especially since I get shot down more often than not. So many times we just skip it even if one of us feels like it. But we are big in showing physical affection in other ways - kissing, cuddling, holding hands, etc. Which is also very important to me. On the whole we are both ok with the situation. We've been together a loooong time and are 15 years older than when we met. We used to be all over eachother so a big proponent is age - but sometimes it makes me feel undesirable and he feels inadequate since he doesn't want it a lot. So we both are unhappy with the sex situation in our house from time to time. We just talked about trying to get back into it after I get my period and can start the pill. Ain't no way I'm risking getting KU again for many reasons (hello. 9 week old. Plus I have my translocation so I really should never get pregnant naturally again. Considering getting my tubes tied.) DH whines that we never have sex but pre LO we did it with the same frequency but I was always the one feeling like it wasn't enough so I think he's just whining just to whine lol I'm not unhappy with frequency but since having DD we don't get the same chances to connect in other ways like cuddling. We can't lay in on weekends & just be near each other. It's rare that we are ever on the same couch together & we go to bed at different times. Not only am I not getting the connection I need outside of sex, because he goes to bed earlier than me, he often wants me to stop cleaning the kitchen from dinner to come have sex with him & it's really hard to get in the mood when all you want to do is finish what you're doing & unwind or knowing that afterward I have to get back to cleaning the kitchen.
