We have horrible metal blinds in our rental. They were actually so dirty when we came in that we took them down and bought new ones. They're cheap, and it was so much easier than dealing with smoke-stained crap. But I'm not sure that we've cleaned them since I replaced them in September. Oops... I never cleaned them. We got a cleaning lady a few months ago and she is beyond awesome. I did dust them just a couple weeks ago before my IL's visit. We have the wood ones too so I do it one panel at a time. The dust is definitely more noticeable with the summer sun. I'm dusting all our blinds. I would have just taken them outside and hosed them off, but they are the real wood kind, boo! I just counted and I have 18 sets of blinds in our house. 1 down, 17 to go! This sucks! Although I haven't dusted them since we moved in last June, yikes! How often do you dust your blinds?
