We always try to find new places and will travel for something 'good'. It's our family time since LO goes to bed fairly early, lunch out is much more enjoyable...I love it! And I go out to lunch with coworkers a couple times a month. I cook things in batches so it makes eating at home quick and easy for us. Since moving to the suburbs and being a SAHM, we very rarely order but that's maInly due to the lack if good takeout places...the closest chipotle is 20 min away. DH works 12 hour shifts, and I pack him a lunch, but he usually eats one meal a shift out. He gets them expensed though (but nothing if he brings both meals) which is how that ends up being OK. We eat lunch out together usually once on the weekend and sometimes one take out/restaurant dinner a week. Sometimes two if it's a particularly busy week or friends want to meet up.
