But I can see myself doing this when she's in a bed and I lay next to her. I often start to nod off now while feeding her on the couch before bed. I always wake up after a few hours, but sometimes it really screws up my night. Sometimes I ask my husband to finish bedtime if I'm worried about it. If I'm tired enough I will sleep like for 4 hours or so! Sometimes I fall asleep for she is done nursing & I'll wake up because she started nursing again on her own lol the majority of my sleep the past few weeks has been spent sitting up. I would have never guessed I could sleep that deeply sitting up holding a baby! Plus I haven't been sleeping much, so last night it was game over for me. I fell asleep putting her down and woke up on the floor next to her this morning. I usually don't fall asleep next to the kids, unless they're going through a phase where they are having trouble falling asleep on their own. Then it happens a few times a week, I think. It's probably good for me, since it's one of the few times I actually get to bed at a reasonable hour. How often do you fall asleep while putting your kids down?
