I used to only get them when I was in a wedding.... so 4 my whole life. But I opted out of doing it for my sister's wedding. I felt bad because it's fun bonding time with the girls, but the smell just gives me such bad migraines, I can't even walk into those places. So I'm done with it. I hate having polish on my nails. It chips immediately and when I take it off my nails feel a lot more brittle. Once sandal weather begins though, I get pedicures about every 4 weeks until the end of the summer. I think it's okay to be polish-free on your hands, but not on your feet! I teach English at a career center that certifies cosmetologists, so I have a student-run salon next door. It's only $12, and they do shellac, so it lasts at least 2 weeks.
