I think she was concerned they would catch a cold... I just figured it was a generational thing. Like how our parents are always telling us that the kids are freezing and need to put more clothes on, when it seems plenty warm to me! I had a stroller raincover with me, but I guess she didn't notice or care? I wish I had had a witty retort, but she was older so I just was deferential to her and didn't say anything. Of course, after the fact I came up with all these witty retorts I *should've* said to her! In any case, we went to the local children's museum and the kids had a blast. That's what's important, and it was totally worth it to me to go out in the rain. Today though I was sore from all that walking and so we stayed home other than a quick trip to the grocery store! How often do you get unsolicited advice from strangers?
