Well we live in the 'burbs and probably have a lot more storage space than you so we go way less often. I can't use my baby carrier now due to migraines and that's the only way my lo would be able to handle the trip, so I usually just wait until my mom comes over and looks in the fridge and of course offers to go. And then she'll usually stick something in the crock pot for me. I go to the store once a week in the winter and once a month in the summer. When we lived in Vancouver we had no car and would pick up our groceries for the day almost every day, or at least 3 times a week. Now we live in the forest, 15 minutes from town, and we've mastered the once-a-week shopping trip. I try to avoid going as much as possible because I absolutely hate it. Usually it boils down to about once every 2-3 weeks with random stops in between to stock back up on milk and produce. I'm boring like that. I try to go big shopping once a week or every 10 days but I find myself still needing other stuff every other day or so. We have a wonderful Asian market but it's not close to where I live (as the crow flies it is but in reality...) and I wish it was since they have great prices and great food! I'm not a big fan of paying through the nose at Whole Foods. I order heavy stuff like beverages once every two weeks from Fresh Direct (a NY based grocery store that's completely online), go to the local market 2-3 times a week for produce, and I try to go to the Korean market twice a month, although lately it's more like once a month. What about you? Also do you call it the market or the grocery store? I call is supermarket and I'm from the west coast, and Mr. Bee calls it grocery store and he's from the east coast.
