I vacuum it at least once a day but usually more. I spot clean when I see problems but a whole floor wipe down occurs at least once a week. Now that we have extended our hardwoods by a room and a hall I will have to work on keeping up on it better. I need to find a good system though, a regular mop doesn't work well for me. The swiffer is good for getting the crumbs/pet hair though! Sometimes i'll vacuum and Bona the kitchen area twice a week, mainly because we have hardwood in the kitchen. DH will vacuum the upstairs (carpeted area) once every 10 days. I was like...uh... a couple times a year? Ha. We try to vacuum once a week but since we're a no-shoes house it really never strikes me as necessary to mop the hardwoods. We were doing ok for a while, but since we got back from a recent trip... we've been struggling just to get the basics done. So it's been a while. Gotta clean the floors soon though, because it's driving me crazy! How often do you clean your floors these days?
