Now that I'm on mat leave I'm reading a lot while nursing - I'm on my eighth book in the 3 weeks since Weston was born. I also still hold her for naps so I frequently read then. But I love to read and want to make it a priority. After our daughter was born I couldn't concentrate enough (and wasn't emotionally stable enough) for most "grown up" books, so I read a lot of kids chapter books- am still working my way through Newbery Medal & Honor books. Now, I'm back to grown up books, but still enjoying the satisfaction of actually finishing kids chapter book now and then. But I often read during the day. I have the OverDrive app on my phone, so I check out library books on my phone, and so I can read really easily, like while my son is playing/when my husband is home and the two of them are playing together, or while I'm nursing. But my schedule is so fragmented and organized by what is most urgent, that I ususally end up reading for 2-3 hrs a night, a couple days before our bookclub meets! So probably 10 hours a month - in 3 days!
