He's using the Avent ones up to 6 months. I have the 6+ ones waiting to be used. Now I'm tempted to pick up some new ones to be safe. The 3+ and 6+ are thicker, I'm assuming for when they start teething (??). When DS turned 3 months I tried to switch and he was not having it! I tried again recently but still no go, so I figure I'll just have to replace them more often. I think I've done a total overhaul 3-4x. He has such a strong suck that you can actually see when they're starting to get worn! I wash them often, but I'm thinking I should replace them soon, but I don't know the "rule" and time frame in which you should do this.
