Last time we visited, it coincided with a wedding I was in, plus LO's church blessing and family party. So one of them I see twice a week (we walk together with the kids once and we have Bible study together once) and the other one that I consider a "friend" I see 3 times a week- all at child/playdate type activities! I don't remember the last time I hung out with JUST friends...no kids. It was probably before my son was born. Soooo at least a year and a half? But those girls I see at church almost every week. With one of my closest friend I see her at least once a month; much easier to schedule with just 1 other person! I have a handful of local friends both mom and non-mom friends, but it's SO hard to get together. Between differing schedules, wanting to spend my non-work time with DS/DH and seeing gparents... The last two times I saw GFs were at a bridal shower (took ds because her mom wanted me to bring him) and a bday party (for her DD)! I talk to them regularly, but I miss just laughing and hanging out with them!!!! Need to be more diligent about this.
