I take something at the first sign of an issue. Any aches I tend to just pop something to help. I do that though because usually whatever pain it is end up escalating and I regret not taking something earlier to control it! And I don't' even really get headaches that often. Usually for minor headaches or aches/pains I just tough it out. In the 30 weeks I've been pregnant I think I've taken 3 tylenol… all for backaches when I overdid it and was having trouble sleeping. When not pregnant I pop an advil maybe 2 or 3 times/year. Nothing helped until I got acupuncture which cured me! A couple years later the migraines came back, but only once in a while. They tend to flare up when I'm stressed out. I try not to take painkillers if I can help it, but I probably take them once every month or two. It is just harder to make it through a day with a headache when you have two kids! How often do you take painkillers?
