I hear the first few weeks are just a little hectic, no? But if you have the pictures on your camera you can always do a major upload a few weeks or months down the line when maybe you are sleeping at night or something. </p> <p>I also have an eye fi card for my DSLR, so it will upload to my computer if I have the camera turned on and the eye fi card enabled. It actually takes a super long time, though, so I don't know if that's worth it. Sadie is almost six weeks old, and I think the only photos I've taken of her with my "real" camera were at the hospital, her newborn session, and her first bath. I Instagram the heck out of her, but I never think about getting my camera out. This is sort of embarrassing since I'm a photographer. It just seems like so much more work to have to get my camera, upload, and edit. I really, really want to take more non-IG pictures of her though. I've made it a goal to start taking more lifestyle pictures (not just special occasions) of her with my camera. The last/only one I took was when she was two weeks old (see below!).
