So we go maybe three times a week, sometimes more, to two different libraries. DH likes to take DD1 on the weekends as a daddy/daughter activity, and I take her during the week to get new books and do whatever craft they have out. We used to do story time when she was younger (almost 3.5 now), but I got a little tired of it because it was so crowded every time. Each time we check out 8-10 books. at 4.5 years old we are reading level 1-2 books but our library doesn't keep a big stock of it (mostly YA / middle grade novels OR picture books). We go across town to this amazing library - our local one is teensy and their storytime is once a week too late in the day for us.
