Getting down the extra folic acid and fish oil (pills) is harder. With LO #1 I was a lot better... maybe missing 1-2 times a week and took them for pretty much my whole pregnancy. LO #2 for the first few months I was pretty good... still bad... maybe missed 2-3 times a week. It pretty much went down hill after 20 weeks u/s though because he measured perfectly and now at best I take them 1-3 times a week. If you are a hit or misser... This pregnancy, I'm really good about taking them when I am at work since I have a 9am reminder on my phone and just have to reach into my desk drawer. That helped me to remember. I haven't had a problem swallowing the NatureMade prenatals because they are pretty small and not chalky. My Rainbow Lights were difficult to swallow. I think it's partly that my nausea is so much worse, so I have to eat before I take my pill. Now I am better about it, but I do forget sometimes! I eat very well though so it doesn't really worry me. I know a few people IRL who didn't take it all during pregnancy, which surprises me.
