I had one of our pillows "internally bleed" once and it was not pretty. The inside was divided into 2 chambers: duck down and goose down, and when it broke in the wash the pillow refused to dry and clumped up all over and smelled horrible! Luckily it was covered under manufacturer warranty so I was able to get it replaced! Comforter luckily is a light fluffy Korean blanket that fits in our wash! I wash it 2x a month.
