She's so OCD!" then I read through the instances and I was like "oh wait... I wash my hands all those instances as well..." so yes, I'm exactly the same. Haha. I need to do a better job of remembering to put on potion but it seems futile when I'm just gonna wash them again. I use non-latex gloves when handling raw meat to avoid a longer than usual handwashing afterwards. I have eczema and when things get really bad, I lotion up my hands with eczema cream and wear gloves to sleep. And then she washes the whole kitchen. My husband expected me to be like that, but I told him if he wants the kitchen cleaned every time I make chicken, he's welcome to do it. No complaints since! Your hands just get dirty or need to be cleaned a lot more once you're a mom! My nails have been breaking really easily lately so I wonder if it's the combo of dry weather plus hand washing. With Olive, I became an even more obsessive handwasher since she was a preemie. I probably wash my hands 30 times a day - before and after pumping (since I usually type while pumping and keyboards are germy), after bathroom, after changing diapers, before cooking, before preparing bottles, etc. etc. Anyone else as obsessive of a hand washer?
