My Gaiam mat never really cleans right? There are still stains from when I practiced outdoors over a year ago and they won't go away no matter what I try. I wash it every 6 months. I just put it through the washer, and let it hang dry outside. Last time I went to a yoga class (before LO was born), I do remember feeling slightly embarrassed at the state of it - a few coffee stains from early morning yoga and lots of claw marks where the cat used to join in!
