<description>&#60;p&#62;I workout 5 times a week. 3 of them are a 30 minute PDF I'm working through (Bikini Body Guide). I do it 3 times a week, right after taking LO to school. I work at home, full time, but I committed to squeezing it in. The other 2-3 times a week are just walks or hikes that I do on the weekends WITH LO. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;It's hard to find the balance. I put it off for so long, and finally, after struggling with horrible anxiety, made it a priority.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I'm lucky that there is a great running track (~4km) between my work and my son's daycare, so 3 times a week I leave work right at the bell and go straight there in my running clothes (makes it harder to bail on it when I change at work) and do either one or two laps depending on how I'm feeling that day.  They have a little station with steps, pull up bars and other workout equipment so if I'm really motivated I do some strength training as well.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I'm halfway through my second week of shooting for 6 times a week, and I think I've finally found a time / plan that works for me. I workout right after putting the kids to bed, and do a 30 minute  21-day fix workout DVD. They are great because there is a different workout every day of the week, and they are really only 30 minutes. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I've found that if I sit down on the couch after putting the kids in bed, my motivation to workout is immediately gone, so I don't let myself sit until I'm done! I try to make myself remember 30 minutes is actually really short in the scheme of things.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I'm a SAHM so I don't have work pressures to work around but I do have two littles, minimal childcare and no gym daycare. I try to do some sort of strength work at home while my big girl is at preschool three afternoons a week (she's only there for two hours), we walk to and from preschool wherever possible and I've just started taking the dog out in the evening after my babies are asleep.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;For those of you interested in some short and sweet home strength training, I follow Emily Skye on FB and she has some really good short videos.

I'm lucky in that my current schedule allows for that. And I rearranged my priorities. If I only fold laundry once a week so be it, Im a better mom/wife/person with a little self care

<description>&#60;p&#62;Pretty consistently 5x/week. My DH and have staggered schedules so I work early/do pre-school pickup, he works late/does drop-off. I get up crazy early (like way before LO gets up) so I can go to the gym before my work day starts at 7:30am. Days I have to drop off for some reason, there's a gym at my office, so I go during lunch. I also try to run with her in the jogging stroller on the weekends (DH goes with her in the mornings).

<description>&#60;p&#62;This sounds familiar! I have help about 30 hours a week but my workload is at least equal to that or greater than. Still, I aim for 4-5x week. I either run or do a Zumba class/weights at the gym. I shift some of my work to after the kids are in bed sometimes to make it work.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;It sucks, but when I start slacking on working out, my mood suffers (and everyone else suffers too). So unless I am under a really tight deadline I don't skip it.

In the evenings (after DS is asleep), I do core strength exercises. If I have energy, I'll go to the gym for a barre or Zumba class once a week (though, I've been slacking on that since the school year has rolled in).

I try to make it 6-7 days a week but I am working towards a pretty big goal at the moment. When I am not training, I will go 4 times a week or so. I make fitness a really big priority right now because after having kids, I really lost a part of myself, so I am doing this for me  :grin:

<description>&#60;p&#62;@nana87: Yeah it's definetley a challenge, but for some reason I'm okay with doing it at home verse putting the girls in the gym daycare and the additional time of driving there adds. I'm the queen of excuses for getting out, so if I force myself to come home and do it right away (we have an elliptical in our basement) it works out for me. I tried mornings but I get lazy and then give up after a few days.

I would come home start dinner, let LO1 watch a show, and I would to my 40 minute workout while LO2 took her early evening nap. If I time it perfectly I can be about done before both of them want me ;)
