My parents are 2.5-3 hours by car, they come to us 1 or 2 times a year, but we go to them more often because I have a lot of friends in that area so we will stay with them for weddings/showers/etc. So we probably visit them 6 times a year. I'm curious how all this will change when LO is here though, my mom I think will visit a lot more often, which I am so excited about! And MIL is retiring soon so she may move closer or come to visit more often. My parents live a 10-11 hour drive away (they usually fly, but I can't remember how long that flight is). FIL is down the street and we see him once a week. MIL is two hours by car and I've only seen her once this year. They live 6 hours away by car. But my mom's whole side of the family (her mom, brother, and sister) are all in my state so they have reason to come pretty often. Wagon Sr.'s mom comes about once every other month, sometimes to babysit overnight, and sometimes just to visit. She lives about 4 hrs away by car. We usually bring her here by train or plane.
