It's often cheaper than subscribe & save! You just have to check back on it.

Midway through every night feeding (after he finishes the first side). We swaddle him and I'm not skilled enough to figure out if he's pooped unless I unswaddle him. And by that point I might as well change him. The few times I've been lazy and not changed him at 3 a.m., he's had quite a messy diaper at the next feeding which made me feel guilty like he'd been sitting in it all night :(

@Mrs. Lantern: I think at that point they tend to have fewer/no nighttime BMs? I heard that in an Isis webinar. Supposedly a developmental thing. Plus I wouldn't want to wake him up once he starts STTN!

I change and feed her around 8, and and then she goes to sleep around 9. I will usually try a dream feed around 10:30, but she doesn't always take it. I don't wake or change her for that feed. She wakes up herself to eat at 3 and 7, and I do change her before both of those feedings. She doesn't poop in the middle of the night (always after the 10am & 6pm feedings), and won't wake if she just has a pee diaper, so I won't need to change her once she STTN.

L started STTN at 8 weeks, until then we changed him if he woke (1 - 2 times). Once he started STTN i read that you don't have to change them during the night if they wake, so when he started waking again (more often he still STTN, but has some regressions where he wakes once), we don't change him during the night. just feed and put him back to bed. he never poops during the night, but if he did, we would change it.

I have to admit: we used to change him every time he woke up to eat, but we don't anymore. He usually only wakes up once, and he goes back down much easier if he hasn't been woken up by the diaper change. We CD during the day, use 'sposies at night (Nature Babycare). Been doing this for about a week now, and he hasn't gotten a rash.

Thanks ladies. LO is 5 weeks old and while I don't mind nursing every 2-4 hours at night since I breastfeed in the side-lying position, I feel so groggy for diaper changes and LO has a tough time going back to sleep.

We would typically change her at around 11pm and then not change her until her 8am feeding! She never pooped in her sleep. The disposables did a good job of keeping the dampness away from her tush and she never got a diaper rash. (We use Desitin with every change)

I changed DS at every wakeup/feeding until about 6-8 weeks old and then changed during the night if DS pooped. We also cloth diapered and I used fitteds and covers at night with a fleece liner to wick away moisture but get the most absorbency.
