Most all his friends either travel for work or work very long hours. He tends to see them on weekends for football games and such, whereas I tend to meet my girlfriends for happy hours and dinners during the week more frequently. It's near impossible to keep a regularly scheduled night out going, though, with everyone's schedules being all over the place. DH did have class twice a week this semester, so I had two nights all to myself! I think it's important for both of us to have time out with our friends. They used to have them more often a few years ago, along with weekly poker nights. Now that 2 of the guys are dads, it's more like 2 - 3x a year (and poker night died). </p> <p>I used to get kinda miffed when they had their guys nights... mainly because 3 of the guys are originally MY old college friends who I've been friends with since 1999, including one of the guys who is my BFF. DH inherited them when we got together in 2004. So once you add in DH, I'm close to 4 of them!! haha. Oh well, I don't mind so much anymore. </p> <p>I got me some takeout sushi and it was darn good!! </p>
