I have a gut feeling my LO has been dealing with some icky gas lately (she's always been a pretty gassy and spit-upy baby). I first noticed it after we'd been consistently offering some solids. She got a little backed up and started going a few days between poops. They also became thicker in consistency.

During this time she seemed to wake in pain from gas and when I'd pick her up and put pressure on her belly, I'd feel her diaper rattling with some pretty impressive farts. Since then I've noticed her farting almost every time she strains to do something, is doing tummy time, coughs, laughs... is this normal? She's always farted but never as much as she has been lately.

How often does your LO fart? Could this be an issue or just her digestive system maturing?
