He goes to sporting events with friends and I do dinner with mine. I would say 1-2 times a month we have seperate weekend plans. It's good for us, I like that we have seperate social lives but can still enjoy time together. Just this morning in fact he was talking about wanting to go to a movie that I didn't really care to see. I told him that he could go ahead & go & he actually got his feelings hurt..... said he didn't want to go alone. When I told him to see if any of the guys would want to go he said he wanted to go with me. It was sweet & I of course went to see it with him. Usually on Saturday afternoons and Sunday afternoons we go out together or sometimes I go with them. It's funny when I go with them to parks because it's always dads with the kids and I have fun imagining what the moms are doing-- dishes, probably! or cooking dinner. LO really can't stay in the house all day or else she goes stir crazy. But since I haven't felt well after surgery he's been going to dinner without me. I keep telling him to go, it's nice for him and LO to get out of the house- why should they be stuck here because of me? He still feels bad about leaving me, but I really don't care.
