Mine is almost 5 weeks and I would still be more inclined to count his 'awake periods' rather than naps because other than eating he pretty much sleeps around the clock. Typically he has 2 awake periods per day. Usually around 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the early evening.

LO is 7 weeks and she is usually up for 1.5 to 2 hours between naps, including feeding and changing. Any longer than that and she starts to get cranky, although she does sometimes go 2-3 hours awake. Normally, she naps for about 30 minutes-1 hour but she takes one long 2-3 hour one in the afternoon.

It totally depends on the day. Some days she sleeps a ton, but more often she only takes short catnaps throughout the day. The result is that she gets totally overtired and cranky by the evening. I wish she was a better napper with a more consistent schedule, but so far she's not. (DD is 7 weeks old.)

DD will be 2 weeks old tomorrow. In the mornings she sleeps from 7-9:30 or 10, but then she's awake for several hours. Once 1:30-2 rolls around, she's awake an hour or two and sleeps for two or three hours. I wish she would keep that schedule in the mornings as well because she gets overtired.

It depends on the day or week! I don't think she's on a schedule yet. Yesterday she slept almost all day and night. Waking only to feed. Today she had 2 half hour naps and 1 hr nap in my arms followed by 1 hr in her bassinet.

II feed her every 3 hours during the day and there is usually about 1.5 to 2 hours of sleeping between each feeding session. So, I guess that means a lot!@

DS is 8 weeks, and his awake periods are about 1-2 hours long; that's including the time it takes to change and feed him. Most babies won't be awake longer than an hour or two at a time until the are over 3 months.

My girl sleeps a ton during the day and wakes maybe 2 times at night to feed/sleep again. She has some period of wakefulness during the day/night but usually will wake eat and fall asleep again.
