The problem is that then if we leave the house (which we almost always do after nap time) he falls asleep thereby preventing a truly early bed time to make up for it. His usual nap is an hour and 30 mins. Today he slept only 45 mins and then we tried an early bed time but he only fell asleep at 815. She just doesn't go down for us easily anymore but will happily sleep for her nanny for up to 2 hours. We usually just put her to bed earlier to compensate. She stopped napping regularly at like 21 months. Today she's been singing up in her room since 2PM... it's almost 4PM now -.- I'll probably go get her in a few minutes and just try to put her down early tonight... When she does nap, she sleeps for up to 2 hours so I know she's not ready to drop it completely.
