@regberadaisy: mine was born on the 29th!

Yeah, my son leans to the right when I seat him in the chair lol. But w the twins, I waited until like three days before they turned six months, since they say to do it at six months. My son doesn't have teeth tho, so I may wait a bit before I let him try and gnaw anything.

DD turns 6 months on 3/3 and she nurses a bazillion times a day. She is also doing the multiple wake ups at night but we've just swaddle and rnp weaned so she's going through a lot of changes right now. Once midnight hits she comes to bed with me and nurses off and on all night.

He nurses twice during the day (6 am and 6:30 pm) and takes three 6 oz expressed milk bottles at 9 am, 12 pm, and 3 pm.

He eats about 3 ice cubes of solids after his 6:30 pm, but it definitely doesn't impact how much he eats or his sleep. We make his purees with breastmilk, though, to get more milk into him.

On total we estimate he eats 30 ozs of breastmilk a day. Do you have any idea her grand total?

Every hour sounds brutal! Sending sleepy thoughts!

@JennyPenny: on daycare days she gets (4) 3oz bottles then nurses 3-4x on top of that, not counting MOTN wakeups. I don't think not eating enough is the problem. She's a chunker and had 2ish months where she would sleep for 6hrs before waking up to feed. I'm OK with her not sleeping through the night. The 45-60m wakeups are what's killing me!

@tequiero21: 8/27, what's his? ☺I'm waiting till she can sit up well unassisted before we start.

Looks like my son is only two days younger! I've been nursing him around 5-6x a day. I've fed him some rice cereal and apple sauce but that's it. Need to start other food. Not sure I'll go the blw route, which is what I did for my twins.

My 6 month old nurses 4 times during the day and gets two 7 oz bottles of expressed milk at daycare. Were doing BLW so not much solid intake yet. We used to do a 5oz dreamfeed around midnight but have slowly weaned from it, and just increased his daytime bottles so now he goes from 7pm-6am without eating.

How much do you feed during the day? Maybe more during the day will help her go longer at night.

Is s/he on solids yet? How about at night?

DD2 will be 6m on the 27th and last couple nights she has been waking up every 45-60m. Just before that things were getting better again and she was even going 4-5 hrs for her first stretch. But then at 6m there is a growth spurt so she can be hitting that early.

Tonight she has already woken up 4x since 7:30!!
