I think it's gets better each year. Right now I have a four year old two three year olds and a 1 year old. The three older ones remember last year and the things we did and are looking forward to them agin. So I would say between two and three they really get it and get excited. Then it just grows each year. Well until they become grouchy teenagers I guess but I haven't crossed that road yet.

Seeing that he loved Halloween, I think he will enjoy them this year (17 months)! Last year, not so much.

My son loved the tree last year. And he loved having family members over for dinner. I think he knew it was a special occasion because everyone was opening gifts and he was running around tearing up wrapping paper. I'm excited to see how he responds to Christmas this year!

DD's first Christmas wasn't too big of a deal (she was 6 months) but her second Christmas at 18 months was great! This year, at 2.5, she's super excited and really getting into Christmas/

DS is only 9 months this year, so I expect it'll be next year before he starts getting excited about the holidays.

LO enjoyed it last year when he was 2. My younger one is 1 and I think she'll enjoy it this year. I think she'll like the tree.

I feel like DD has enjoyed all of the holidays thus far because she has been old enough. She was 8 months for her 1st Xmas and she loved the tree.

My LO is 15 months old and I think she's excited. She loves to spot all the santas, reindeers, and snowmen!

I was kind of bummed by Charlie's first Christmas (well he was born on December 10th, so I guess I"m technically referring to his second Christmas - the one where he was around 1 years old).

He was just too young to really appreciate any of the holiday rituals that we enjoy... like sipping on warm apple cider, having a tree or unwrapping gifts together.

He'll be 3yo this Christmas though, and I think he'll love it!

How old do you think a little one has to be to appreciate and enjoy the holidays?
