My DD was about 2-2 1/2. The first night she didn't go to sleep until 11, but she never does well the first night we're in a different place. We love camping, and she has done super great on all the trips (and she is NOT a good sleeper, but has slept through the night each day of each trip!). Our next camping trip is this Fall when DD2 will be just over 4 months... hoping she does as well as her sister! We picked a close camp ground that we could leave if things didn't work out and only went for one night. It went great! He did great the whole weekend. So maybe that would be a good trial run for you to get an idea of what to expect on your trip?</p> <p>The biggest pro for me was that LO has an absolute blast! We only went for one night just to test out how it would go. She had a good time, but it was *very* humid that weekend so it was hard for us all to truly enjoy it.
