He was failing kindergarten at the first report card (4 weeks in) because he didn't know his alphabet. He still can't sight letters and identify them. </p> <p>My other friends son knows all his letters and numbers by sight by 3 years old. </p> <p>I am planning to start working on it when my son actually starts talking a little after 2.
