It was a pleasant surprise since we were not planning on TTC for at least another year. Unfortunately that resulted in a miscarriage, and I was devastated. It took me another 8 months to be ready, and we were very lucky to conceive on our first month of trying. I would expect the sexy times to be very limited anyway for the first several months, and if all goes well I'll be doing extended bfing, so there won't be a good window to have my body back unless we wait until LO is a toddler/preschooler. We don't mind if they're very close together. In my heart of hearts, I would really love to have another (and also would like to give LO a sibling at some point too!) but I can't even fathom being pregnant/having another anytime soon. I feel like I am just now finally out of the deep fog after the first year! In a perfect world, we would have babies who are 3 or so years apart, but we shall see. I am almost 34 now. </p>
