My LO dropped from 3 naps a day to 2 when he was about 5 months old. He's now 6 months and stays awake for about 2.5-3 hours. We tend to follow a 2-3-4 schedule, so first nap is 2 hours after he wakes up, second nap is 3 hours after he wakes up, and then he goes to bed for the night 4 hours later. Most days it works, sometimes he still needs a little catnap in the evening.

My LO is 4 months and still seems to need to sleep every 90 minutes or so. Because she tends to take catnaps of 30-45 minutes, she's taking at least 4 naps a day (although she I additionally will take a 1-2 hour nap at some point in the day). I'm wondering when she might either a) lengthen her awake time and/or b) take fewer (maybe longer) naps.

What has your experience been?
