He's now 6 months and stays awake for about 2.5-3 hours. We tend to follow a 2-3-4 schedule, so first nap is 2 hours after he wakes up, second nap is 3 hours after he wakes up, and then he goes to bed for the night 4 hours later. Because she tends to take catnaps of 30-45 minutes, she's taking at least 4 naps a day (although she I additionally will take a 1-2 hour nap at some point in the day). I'm wondering when she might either a) lengthen her awake time and/or b) take fewer (maybe longer) naps. </p> <p>What has your experience been? </p>
