7 months! He was such a noisy little sleeper, one night DH decided he had had enough and shoved him into this own room. He's been sleeping there ever since!

We are at 6 months and still going in our room but his nursery is downstairs and we all sleep great.

My lo has reflux too. He slept in the RNP for about 4 months but we used his crib for naps. I did a towel underneath and it was fine, just make sure there are no gaps. Technically it's best to raise the crib from below (under the legs). After 5 months I was able to lay him flat fine.

i thought he'd be sleeping in our room until 2 or 3 months, but we evicted him much earlier. at around 2 or 3 weeks, i was waking up at every noise he made and couldn't get any sleep, so we moved him into his own room.

awww poor baby. She'll soon more than likely stop night pooping!

'i guess more accurately, when mine poops at night, it's more like a shart, and she doesn't let you know, and then you find it in the morning (like DH did today). Surprise dried poop!

I need to get one of these wedges!!!!!!!

@JoJoGirl: I think I'd weigh the: is it harder to carry the RnP or go into her room every time she wakes? If it's easier for you to get up every time she wakes up, I'd totally put her in her own room :)

@JoJoGirl: We moved her in her room around 10 weeks. I would have done earlier but she was getting over a cold from DH traveling, so I wanted her closer.

We bought a crib wedge to go under the mattress to keep her elevated since R has reflux has well. It is like $16 at BRU. We still have in there since she is sick again. I was hoping it would help with her coughing but she has decided to start rolling all over the crib and usually ends up at the bottom.

@MrsRoo: I should try that - someone told me to just stick a towel under the mattress to incline it. Maybe I'll try to get her to nap in there.

@blackbird: For a while we were only getting poops around 7am (I can hear when she's doing it...learned the hard way to WAIT UNTIL SHE'S FINISHED TO CHANGE HER..) but her belly has been upset this week for some reason and she's had 2 massive poops overnight every night. blah.

Mine's 14 weeks old and still in our room. She gets up once a night typically. With the 4th leap and all, though, it's just easier to roll over, soothe her, feed her, and stay in bed. I'm too damn lazy to walk down the hall to the nursery. She doesn't poop at night, so we don't change her. (we use sustainablebabyish diapers+wooL)

We put her in the crib full time right at 10 weeks, but she's been sporadically sleeping in there since 6ish weeks. She won't nap anywhere but the RnP though.

@JoJoGirl: We were handed down a wedge thing to incline the crib mattress, and we use that since she will spit up if we lay her flat right after feedings (and I nurse her to sleep still) , maybe that would help your LO, too?

We all slept in the living room for about two days, with baby in arms or in her swing. On night three, I just decided to put her in her crib in her room and see what happens. She has been there ever since. I originally planned for her to sleep in our room for a few months, but I think this has worked out better for all of us.

5 days old. Our ped recommended it, because none of us were sleeping. He would fall asleep but then one of us would move or snore or fart and he'd wake up. We sensed that he'd sleep longer if he wasn't in the same room. So we asked the ped, she said it was totally fine, and we moved him. He started sleeping 5-hour stretches that night, and was totally STTN by 5 weeks.

I think we moved him around 4.5 months. My son also had reflux, and I just wasn't comfortable with him being out of our room, but by 4.5 months, he wasn't sleeping as well being in the room with us. By then he was rolling back and forth, and tummy sleeping, which helped keep his spit up down a lot.

LO is almost 10 weeks old and I'm starting to feel ready to move her to her own room. She has reflux so is still in her RocknPlay every night. Crib naps are touch-and-go and she usually ends up barfing all over herself if I lay her flat.

For night wakings, I take her into the nursery anyway for diaper changes and feedings to not wake up DH. Our bedroom has a skylight and a HUGE unshaded dome window so is very very bright in the morning this time of year, starting around 5am (he and I both sleep with eyeshades on). So after her 4:30 wakeup, I end up carrying her IN the RnP into the nursery to leave her in there for the rest of the morning where it's darker. She is getting heavy and the carrying her back and forth is getting really old... I'm wondering if it's too early to just have her in there all night?
