My OB knew we were serious about being one and done and said she would do a tubal with my csection. When I was about to have my section she asked again if I was interested - I wasn't comfortable doing it then, but definitely wouldn't have gotten push back from my doctors had I been. </p> <p>If you want one with a csection, make sure you're not delivering at a Catholic hospital. I bled for a long, long time after insertion (like over a month). She thought we were too young to make that decision. She said with a tubal ligation, we could do IVF if we ever changed our minds down the road. I opted against it (we're going with 5 year IUDs and a vasectomy), but I would have had no pushback at all. However she has no kids. She's never wanted them and is 100% sure, to the point she uses multiple redundant birth control methods and would abort if she did get pregnant, but they absolutely refuse. I'm wondering if my OB will have an issue with it or try to dissuade me?</p> <p>I can't imagine us having more than 2 kiddos so it feels like the right choice! </p>
